Alex Oliver Associates is a chartered architectural practice. We believe that good design is not a matter of style, but of substance, skill and care. Our design interests range from the modern through to the traditional.

We have extensive experience in the conservation, restoration and adaptation of historic buildings, alongside the design of new buildings in sensitive historic and landscape locations.

The common thread in our architecture is the sensitivity and awareness of the context in which we are working. In all our projects we perform a rigorous analysis of client objectives, site characteristics and local context together with innovative thinking, creativity and multitude of experience. Our architecture exhibits the outcome of this rigour.

Our ambition is to create fine architecture and environments through clarity of design, awareness of scale, and the elegance of clean harmonious proportion. Our buildings value tradition while reflecting contemporary life.
